If the display runs Android, install the Skjermly app right on it. The app starts by itself, keeps the display awake and keeps playing without network.
The Android app is ready for testing but not published for download yet. Email hei@skjermly.no and we'll send it to you, or use the display's browser in the meantime.
Download the Skjermly app (APK) in the display's browser or from a USB stick. Allow installs from unknown sources when asked.
Open Skjermly and press Home. When the display asks which app to use as home, choose Skjermly and Always. The app then starts after power cuts.
In Android settings, turn off the screen saver and sleep (Daydream, Sleep).
The screen now shows a six-character code and a QR code. Sign in to Skjermly, go to Screens → Connect screen and enter the code, or scan the QR code with your phone.
Send us the model number of the display and we'll send you the right menu steps for that exact model.
