Samsung's professional displays have a built-in web browser. Skjermly runs right in it, so you need neither a media player nor an app. Setup takes about five minutes with the remote.
Use a network cable if you can; it's the most stable. Wi-Fi works too. You'll find network settings under Menu → Network.
Press Home on the remote and choose Web Browser. On some models it's under Source.
Open the browser settings. Set the Home Page to custom and enter skjermly.no/player.
In the same settings, turn off Refresh Interval and set zoom to 100%. Skjermly fetches new content by itself.
Make the display open the browser after power cuts and restarts. The setting is called Autorun, Power On Source or similar, depending on the model.
Under System → Power (or Eco), turn off Auto Power Off, No Signal Power Off and sleep timers. If you want the display off at night, use the On/Off Timer instead.
The screen now shows a six-character code and a QR code. Sign in to Skjermly, go to Screens → Connect screen and enter the code, or scan the QR code with your phone.
Send us the model number of the display and we'll send you the right menu steps for that exact model.
