Philips professional displays with Android run the Skjermly app directly. You install it once from a USB stick and set it as the start-up source.
The Android app is ready for testing but not published for download yet. Email hei@skjermly.no and we'll send it to you, or use the display's browser in the meantime.
Download the Skjermly app (APK) and copy the file to a USB stick formatted as FAT32.
Insert the USB stick. Press Home and then 1 8 8 8 to open the admin menu. Open the file manager, find the APK on the stick and install it.
In the admin menu: Signage Display → Custom App → Select App, and choose Skjermly.
Set Boot on source to Custom App. Skjermly then starts every time the display turns on.
The screen now shows a six-character code and a QR code. Sign in to Skjermly, go to Screens → Connect screen and enter the code, or scan the QR code with your phone.
Send us the model number of the display and we'll send you the right menu steps for that exact model.
